World Cup games don't come round very often and games on your doorstep come less often, two teams of South Pacific Islanders knocking seven bells out of each other is extremely good value at a tenner. Let's be rugby supporters rather than just Leigh supporters and enjoy something different.
A good turnout won't do Leigh any harm even though there are no immediate benefits.

The last World Cup was broadcast in over 127 countries with a global audience of over 20 million expected this year. The game at the LSV is a great opportunity to build upon the previous test matches held at the stadium and attract new fans on a weekly basis. Many will be attending what will be their first game, lets hope it is one to remember.

We've got two of the best in our local community in Tau and Lee. As Mr C says, you'll have a hard job finding two nicer men in Leigh.

Hope people really go out and support the game and we get a decent crowd on. Apparently Rochdale have sold 6k tickets for their game. They have a similar relationship with the Fijians.

Rochdale with their Fijians battered us in a Lancs cup semi final. Half the team came off injured.

On the subject of the forthcoming World Cup I actually trained with the Australian squad today.

I don't like to s but there's not many Leythers who would be able to do that.
