| Fev were the best team in the first half by a country mile.
Second half Leigh showed had they done that first half we can beat anyone home or away.
Fev will be more worried than us though because even though Leigh took more than when we beat them in the NRC( our support was about 25% better).
Over 3800 v Sheffield and 2000 today. Well one of those attendance figures is way out or is it two

There was far more there for the Sheffield game than today, the stands and terracing were significantly busier. Playoff crowds are traditionally smaller than league attendances, look at the attendance figures in Super league and the Championship for playoffs over the years. Some people obviously don't like the system or don't want to pay extra on top of their season ticket. Its the complete opposite in football.

| I have a pic of the stand today. There was nowhere near as many in there as there was for the sheff game. Even fewer behind the posts and main stand.

In fact our kicking game was poor, you successfully put pressure on Finn and Kain and our kicking suffered.
Your kicking was great, those bombs that Riddy kept putting up really had us in trouble.
Two things won it for us, the pace of our three quarter line and Leigh's poor discipline in the first half.'"
Thanks for that ! Our threequarters are shockingly slow and lack flare hopefully we can add some quality there soon ? Penky also changes a game on introduction and next season we have Govin to return too !

I only implied a lot of Fev fans did not go today. That's why I think your fans are a bit strange not turning up to watch a good side.

| It does appear odd. But most folk I know regarded the game v sheff as far more important than the game today.
Seems a bit out of kylter to me given how the champions are decided nowadays, but there ya go.

| As you were in the stand and i was sat opposite i can tell you with 100% certainty how many you brought, wasnt 7/800 that you normally say, the section of seats you were in was as near as damd it full and the section has 400 seats, great following, and if im right if Dewsbury beat Sheffield we will play them so could still meet Leigh in the final when once again we will out drink you in your own town

| I guessed about 1,800 so no quibbles about that. PO Road End usually seems far busier than that when we've been at the other end.
We showed what we're capable of in the second half but had left ourselves with far too much to do after that first half. We need to be a lot smarter around the ruck and give the ball a bit more air rather than trying to pummel our way through the defence.

| Crowd looked spot on to me, i'd say about 400 vocal leythers there. First half fev looked on a different planet to us but the second half I thought we were fantastic and could of won the game with a bit of luck, but no doubt the best team on the day won. Lets hope we can beat batley now, if we do you never know.

| Fevs backs were much faster than ours and thats what won it for them.......always said that if u can be within 6 of Fev at HT you can win as they bang the points in the 1st half then hang on for the win.
Great tactic that works and it did again today. (a couple of rubbish tackle attempts also gifted them 3 try`s which didnt help us).
Well done to Fev IMO.

| We massively let ourselves down in the first 40.
We failed to handle a number of cop-overs and kick-offs, our defensive effort was shocking and we failed to build any go-forward.
The 2nd half was better, but I feel we only got back in to the game because fev took their foot off the gas. It was an almighty cock-up to gift us or 1st of the 2nd half. And the 2nd Brierley try was a knock-on all day long!
Very disappointed, don't see us beating Batley next week given our current form.

| Charlie thought our lads played very poor in the first half , but upped their game in the Second half , I don't mind us losing if we try , in the second half our commitment was there to be seen ,I thought Ostick and Thornley both had decent games , and to me we can beat the bullfrogs next week , then its back to PO Road , with the right approach we can beat Fev .
If Tommy G was a couple of inches taller he would have scored very early on , and I thin the Ref missed 3 very obvious Fev knock ons , I hope Spenner isn't hurt ,it may have been cramp hopefully PR will have learned something from Today , and maybe bring back Higson .

It did look like Spenner was suffering from cramp Ian.
