Nope, leave it well alone, employ the best players for winning games within a sensible budget , then give your marketing personell a budget to market with

In my opinon we need a USP to get people through the door, people aren't going to start flocking in their droves because we've won the Northern Rail cup, if funds become available I think we need to splash out on something, take a little bit of a gamble, I've no idea what it is, but we must be able to buy or do something that will get more people in. New fans have to feel like they're getting value for money if they're spending £60+ on a few hours stood in the rain.

Lets just do what Miami Dolphins did and buy a dolphin, or a pig, and stick it one of the corners or something.

In my personal opinion. The only way to get people "flocking in their droves" is to change admission prices. I know its easier said than done, and I'll probably get my head bitten off. But I know plenty people who say theywould come if it was £10 adult £5 concessions.
Needs to be advertised well in advance though, and don't expect miracles straight away. But surely 4000 adults at £10 is clearly better than 1000 at £16/18

Price is relevant, but not that relevant, for the BOM to declare a 3 or 5 year price freeze would be a good thing , dropping prices would have the bean counters ( Maurices term, not mine ) becoming apopolectic , instead make a public declaration inviting the whole town ( including current fans ) to free entry to 1 game every year

I don't have the answer I'm afraid, we need to do something Wigan, Warrington and Saints don't do, offer something that you don't get from staying in and watching football on SKY, we keep trying all these crap slogans and gimmicks, Imagine if on a Sunday afternoon we took reservations for Sunday dinners for either before or after the match in the big suite we have, kids would take their parents, Grandparents would take their grandkids, catering company would make money, offer discounted family tickets for the West Stand for people eating.
We just need to try different things that get families all coming together not just the one person from every family, keep trying, eventually we'll hit the nail on the head.
