Means a lot that mate thank you and I really do appreciate the importance of everyone who supports our club.

As a member of that Communications team, I believe it is essential that we 'get the message' out there, using any means at our disposal. I've always believed that, and now feel, at last, the members of the team have the 'official' backing and opportunity to do just that. I also believe that 'Communications' is one of the most vital channels in the organisation, for raising support and funding.

None of us on the team wants to get involved in slanging matches on fans' message boards but, at the same time, we also recognise that these boards are a vital way of communicating with Leigh supporters - past, present and future.

Many contributors to this board have come up with interesting, and potentially profitable, ideas, going forward. However, there have also been misapprehensions and even untruthful ( ) posts on here, which must be rectified. I would hope that someone from the Communications team would continue to do that. I would also add that such posts must accurately reflect the club's stance on issues raised.

Some posters just seem to want to write negative posts at every opportunity and try and stick the knife in !!!!! ,I for one appreciate Andy posting on the message board and telling us what is going on . Anyone with a problem with it don't come on the message board but these negative posters can't keep away they feel the need to have a go !

As a Warrington supporter first and formost it often frustrates me how poor the club is at communicating. Here you have a Director who is easily accessible via twitter and this forum, which are the two easiest and most direct methods of interacting with supporters.

Surely Andy should be praised for sticking his head above the parapet and being willing to converse directly with plonkers like yourself, WYSIWYG. Sadly though I imagine if the directors refused to use social media and communicated only through traditional, more formal means you would complain that they were inaccessible and distant. It seems there is no winning with some people, never mind.

An unofficial message board should be for everyone regardless of their views, to post how they feel. As long as it fits in with the MB guidelines then I have no problem. I personally think it is more professional for official statements to be issued through official channels E.g. The Centurions website, but I have no problem in anyone posting whatever they want. That's why this is unofficial.

I believe our vision is for statements/news to appear first on the club's 'official' channels, but from there it should flow smoothly (even automatically) to the other communication channels available.

My personal view is that this is one of those channels - it's not very long ago, that the 'official' website linked into this one, for example.

However, I believe it is also essential that the club, via Andy or whoever, should be able to respond to rumours/tittle-tattle that appears to be getting out of hand on here. To get the message direct from one of the BOM, removes any ambiguity about that message.

Oh, and by the way, I also firmly believe that everyone is entitled to his/her say, as long as it fits into the MB guidelines. For example, WYSIWIG has offered his opinion on whether a club official should get embroiled in what appears on this MB. To me, that is a perfectly valid point to make.

Its still having a dig no matter how you wrap it up and quite frankly there is no pleasing folk like WYSIWYG I find his post are just a way of attacking the club because he doesn't agree with things as they are well ok we don't always agree but he never has a good word to say he doesn't watch Leigh as far as I know so why waste his time on here unless its to wind people up constantly .For goodness sake surely he can find some positive things at the club .

We have heard all these rumours many times in the past , some folk are in their element when things are going wrong at the Club , these days things seem to be going right , so some folk try to stir it , just to get things going again , Charlie is over the Moon with the work the BOM have been putting in , long may it continue .

As for next season , its obvious some players will leave , but again some will arrive to replace them , lets see what happens then , this season is not over yet and some folk are still trying to stir it .

Alan I totally agree with everything you have said but I also have a little bit of sympathy for what Wyzi has said. I hope that all this new found openness never ends up I an all out slagging match with a poster and a BOM member. My personal opinion is Andy should take a step back and take a deep breath. Having said that he - Andy Mazey that is - is like a breath of fresh air on this forum.
