Paul's primary responsibility is to his players. If he doesn't keep them onside, then, with our without financial troubles, what do we have?

And discussing it with a journalist will help in what way exactly? , if I had been in the coaches position I would have requested the club itself to make the situation public rather than via the players family and friends or via non official social media, would you not agree?

I'd normally agree as a well run well drilled professional club would have measures in place to ensure things came out to supporters and sponsors in a professional way.
I don't think Ian Millward had permission the last time we had a financial meltdown when he announced on Radio Manchester of our huge financial problems so in fairness to Rowley he's just following that on.

Re : The OP , I'm wary of giving anything direct to this club as a huge chunk of trust went after the massive U Turn on the Wigan link up, equally the LISA cheque was quickly swallowed up the other week and since then....quiet.
I really do not know what to believe or not to believe when it comes to Leigh Centurions anymore however what I'm certain of is the club needs changes at the top or the people at the top must step up three gears - might be harsh to say as they have obviously been flat out but the best work they are doing is coming far too short far too often for the club to continue to exist.
The main worry though - Do we have a Plan B ?

I agree, but it isn't so easy to be level headed when it happens to you. It was the same with Bradford last year, we were left to learn a lot from the players and Potter. Hopefully things won't go that far.

I have to say that the original post about the players not getting paid was quoted word for word tonight on GMR. Right or wrong unless it is totally true and not bad for the club it should not have been posted on here. That is just my opinion.

Ian today is the first time I have seen the lads for a while and the news about Derek and the result, well I'm on cloud nine. The young guns stood up today.

Tony things certainly sounded positive tonight , the lads looked in a good mood , Rob Parker spoke about the pre-match determination of the lads , i over heard a few amusing comments from a couple of players not playing today Trevor spoke well , all in all i was chuffed to be in the room and part of it .

Another couple of businesses said they intended getting involved , im a HAPPY CLOWN , no tears today .

Gutted my stingy self came out at refusing to pay the £3, wish I'd stayed now
