Wouldn't go that far but I believe one of the first tasks a new BOD needs to look at is to get LSV to the table without delay to renegotiate and iron out operational issues.

LISA most important group at the club , look at its input over the past few years , probably the biggest Sponser of the Club , and Lynda works her socks off for the Club and LISA ,ive said this before , if we had another 6-10 Lyndas the club would be OK .

Totally disagree mate sorry, comparing paying for one Leigh game v an amateur team along with a non Leigh games pricing and the actual future of the entire club is ridiculous.

Im told one of Mr O Conners first tasks at Widnes was to focus his attention on Halton Council and the stadium as it was crippling the club and preventing it making money.

LSV would need to know going forward they would be dealing with an aggressive business minded board who treat the fans as their boss as owners of the shares and act only in the best interests of Leigh Centurions whom i may add are LSVs biggest customer.

Then we agree to Disagree , as i feel most Leythers wont pay this kind of money , some would , but more wouldnt , because of various reasons , the main one being they couldnt afford it , and Jonny you know how many Armchair fans we have .

The cup ticket issue wasn't handled well and should be a lesson learned.

If a new club/ new BOD could be initiated it would need to be a sustainable model so in my opinion fans expectations would need to be drawn in. That said with a new broom so to speak with fan input and ownership and a clear pathway and vision I think people I'll buy in.

In an ideal world this would be great , but we dont live in an ideal world , either you know something we dont or these are just big IFS , we have a BOD already , they wont just walk away my own relatives have been approached about putting money into the club , will it happen ?We will have to wait and see .

I don't know the guys well enough to make a statement like that but I do know from an inspection of companies house records there are only two active shareholding directors at the club, by this I mean shareholders who are currently operating as directors of The Ltd company SCL.

I have been party to meeting and conversations that I can't disclose the Infomation I've received but it is my personal opinion that if a new board could be formed ideally with say 5/6 local companies willing to invest a set figure then a representation from LISA & TDC sufficient revenue could be put in place to take the club forward economically and while starting from scratch with a clear vision to build a sustainable fan owned business model which some day may be able to knock on the SL door if it ever be opened to us again.

Looking at it from a purely business point of view and not as fan my opinion is a new club like what Widnes did would be the best way to make this happen though this would mean sacrificing the SL dream. If we're honest with ourselves it is just a dream anyway at this stage with the club not ready to even contemplate sustaining a realistic bid in its current model all in my option of course.

Keith we dont know each other but I know of you and know you have the respect of many in Leigh.

Like yourself I head up our business which is very time consuming and I also have family commitments so I appreciate your comments and understand fully what you mean.

I feel that the there are ways to move forward outside the mould of what has historically been the template of the past and with the global economy being as poor as it is new ways of going forward need to at least be given serious consideration and explored.

I have stated to Trevor that I am interested in being part of a new set up but it would be on the basis that a clean sweep be made of old shareholders unless any want to step up to the plate with new investment or at leasts a show of solidarity and commitment. I did explore the current setup but decided against getting involved as there are are too many old shareholders in the background and also to much financial uncertainty for me to associate myself or my business with at present.

I would be interested in talking to like minded people with similar opinions though and also not just talk but who also have the means to back up such a movement.

I believe Trevor could and would be willing to support a movement which may benefit the clubs long term future and the town as a whole. I also am told there are other people who share similar if not the same vision.

In fairness I don't think it's quite as straight forward as them just resigning as the banks need guarantees to secure the over draught facility on the business.

I have a view on things and would be interested in talking to Steve again like yourself I don't know him but if he shares similar thought processes may be some value collectively with others we could maybe add???
