Well again , not a great performance , but again a wins a win , and no bonus point for Town , i feel very soon we are going to cut loose and some team will cop it , when we do send the ball out wide ,and put a move on we look good and more ofeten than not we score , but again to much inside ball ,which doesnt work , or players trying to crash over from short range .
We are a ball playing side , lets start playing like one .

Mo its just my opinion and how i saw this afternoons game , though i would never stop watching Leigh to watch United , they do send me to sleep .

Score line really didn't give justice to how much Leigh controlled the game. A couple of cracking tries as well.

Nine games into the season now. We have won 7 and lost 2.

It is no surprise the 2 losses are against good sides.

With respect to the other 7 these performances are not 80 minute performances and given our squad this is not good enough.

Our defence switches off too often and our attack is hardly scintillating.

Well I am not too impressed and fear for us at Fax. BRIERLEY is wasted at scrum half. Finnegan's defence was good in the first half but that missed tackle in the second was appalling. His defence against Barrow was very bad too.

I am not just blaming him for conceding 22 points but we look like a team who does just enough in games against average opposition.

We are too slow in the threequarters. We are not playing well and I am sick to death of that predictable inside ball.

I really do hope Coyle is back soon and our coaching team start fining players for shocking errors in defence.

Guessed it one Charles, I had almost overcome my insomnia when the radio kicked, having said that the signal was poor here in Barbados

Two wins out of two over Easter cant complain but like others have said our play at times is very predictable players don't seem to be switched on several times today we worked a opening all they had to do is move the ball thro one more pair of hands and McNally was over the line instead a forward got the ball and ran inside daft some outstanding defense from both team Beswick tackle in the first half on that big forward right on Leigh's line was top class stopped him dead with the aid of McNally the Workington fans where giving McNally stick everytime he came into shouting distance it was brilliant when he scored and looked up at them and gave them a big smile lol All in all it was a win but the ball needs to be moved around a lot better if we are to challenge Fev, Halifax Sheffield players need to be aware of what's happening in both attack and defence instead of switching off. Can't wait for the Fax game away it should be a cracker Well done Centurions job done over Easter...

We have just scored 42 points at home, my guess is its not our half backs that are the problem. Riddy and ryan created a lot of chances today which is there job, they did there job! On the other hand some of the missed tackles were appalling.

We played quite good in patches today, Worky didn't deserve 22 points, but a win will do....long way to go yet !!!!!!!

I am happier when we win than when we lose.

I am not happy however with our defence because sometimes it is worse than poor.

With respect to Workington they are hardly a fast side but yet they scored 4 tries and previous home game Barrow 4 in the first 20 minutes. Sheffield 24 in the first half. It is just not good enough and you might notice I have not mentioned Fev away.

RL is an 80 minute game and despite our comebacks the stats speak for themselves.

We need a scrum half and quicker play the ball. We need concentration for the full 80 from our players. We need improvement but we seem to do the same for a full game ie lose concentration.

Five times today Brierley passed the ball to the wrong player when we were attacking. Do I blame him or the coaching staff ? Well am I just posting this just to be annoying ?

It is not good enough.

It needs sorting otherwise we will get tonked at Fax.

But its funny you dont mention, mcnally dissalowed try, gardner held up over the line (should of scored ) and tommy gouldens try which Brierley all created??? Thats the problem with this club at the moment, too much negativity. I would hate to think what you would be like if we had got beat by whitehaven or york....
