Didn't attend, so can't really comment, but it's good to see Leigh fans coming on here and calling them what they are, without any hint of the 'Well, you started it' that these posts normally consist of.
I hope someone can identify them and ban them.

Why couldn't you just watch the bloody game ? The days and age of having wannabees and yobbos at Rugby matches are long gone ! Whoever the instgators are , had better behave or they will never watch Leigh again ! Drink, sing ,d support your team ! |

Think the lad that has replied and apologised at least realises they were in the wrong, and as most fans have said the women gave as good as they got so lets put this down to stupid high jinks, there was no complaints from the Fev fans so no harm done.
I know a couple of the lads have been banned from going to the next away game so think they realise they went a bit to far, although to be fair to them from what I have been told they both distanced themselves from some of the lads with them.

Urinating on the high st at 2.15pm, whilst folk of all ages are making their way to the ground set the scene for another school outing.
The biggest concern is that they believe this to be acceptable, as is foul language directed at a female - bring back the birch.

Think that's a bit OTT there nick, I remember going in the 80,s when there was regular trouble involving Leigh supporters but they never banned anyone, and to be fair they have apologised which is more than some young and old people would do, and as you say you didn't attend I did and to be fair the women gave as good as they got.
Think its time to put this to bed and the lads involved will be spoken to!! |
