It's a big leap to conclude from a one-off failure of communication, in unusual circumstances, that the club is 'out of its depth'.

Your first sentence leaps from telling us you're never going again - we all appreciate the public pronouncement - straight through to an accusation that communication at the club is 'non existent', which is massively overblown nonsense and you know it.
I understand why other Leigh fans are going to have a problem with that comment.
You are welcome to post your own opinions on the situation, and you have, but don't complain when others have their own opinions and they don't agree with yours.
Regarding the ticket situation, I doubt the club will allow this kind of thing to ever happen again. But it's irrelevant for yourself peawapp, because you've decided to never come back to the LSV anyway.

| Problems like this often occur because training and guidance have not been given to the people carrying out the task or tasks. If the person responsible for turnstile operatives or stewards have not given the correct instructions to the employees, then errors like this will occur. This incident needs to be reported and a plan of action drawn up to eliminate any problems of this nature occurring in the future.

| I understand Peawapps (and the others) aggravation and he’s right it was poor communication, but to state we are out of our depth etc is taking it out of proportion, I posted on here that we had a similar thing with Leigh East Girls at Huddersfield a couple of years back, when we were guests of the RFL and couldn’t get in because the Stewards knew nothing about it. Last season our tickets wouldn’t work at the automatic turnstiles watching Rovers at Old Trafford, we had to go back to the ticket office for replacements only for them not to work either, this season at Bloomfield Road we had to go to four different pick up points before we actually got our tickets.
It happens pass on your concerns to LSV and hopefully they’ll learn from it, but I wouldn’t be shocked if I hear of something similar anytime soon.

As I said, earlier in the post, the club/LSV will have to learn from this problem. I guess, as an organistaion, they aren't too used to SL clubs crying off fixtures at short notice.

But when you've actually paid for your tickets you've never had a problem

| Mo if you have one cash turnstyle they would all have to be cash turnstyles as no one of our stubborn fans would buy a ticket and it will be back to fans turning up at 2.59.

| There was an argument going on at the turnstile going into the North Stand. Two fans were refused entry with Salford tickets. The Steward said the Club had originally said Salford tickets could be used but a fresh instruction came just before 2-30pm saying they couldnt. The Steward advised them to go back to the ticket office for an explanation. Communication is not good. On another thread there is plenty of is it on, is it off in relation to the Salford game. Why dont the Club tell us, one way or the other - perhaps its a secret

Well, that's twice Salford have wanted to play us, and then changed their minds. At least we know Swinton will turn up. Hope this heasn't made a mess of Paul's pre-season plans.

| Also: A little bird told me in the Park Inn on Sunday (member of staff) that Leigh had booked breakfast for players following an early training session on New Years Eve. Paul R decided for whatever reason to cancel training BUT no one cancelled the breakfast.......communication problem again

| I am affraid that this is what happens when you have a business that is being run on good will and not enough staff. To even organise a game must have the current staff run off their feet so it is inevitable that things like this will happen. To even speak in terms of us being an SL outfit without the proper infrustruture in place to run the club is daft. Cordination and distribution of information is essential in my industry and is the sole responsibility of a couple of people. If we could afford such a thing then we should have it. I would'nt be getting too upset over tiddly things like this but I would make it known to the club that it is happening. In a nice manner.
