I had a similar conversation with Matt and Frank at dewsbury regards our drawn game at Easter.
I commented that we had that game won but let you off the hook. Frank and Matt countered that Leigh were good enough and played well enough to play their way back into that game and nick a draw - and finish the game as the dominant team.

It's subjective and often depends on which side you are looking from as to how you saw the game.

Only one team in it last night our halves and forwards decided not to turn up collectively, TBH i've seen this coming for a couple of months so whilst disappointed I wasn't that surprised, it COULD be a wake up call and COULD finish our season over to you lads to decide which.

I thought Martin tried 100% harder in the second half but things just didn't come off and the more he tried the more it went wrong. Takes a big man to say sorry.

A team that's being disbanded in 2 weeks, a coach who leaves in 2 weeks and a board of directors who resign in 2 weeks. What else do you really expect? If anyone thinks that these factors won't influence the team then they are not living in the real world. No matter how much professionalism the players try to show, it's bound to have a detrimental effect.

I thought we looked panicked and nervous tonight and the pressure took its toll. Hopefully we can play with the confidence we have shown all season next week

Don't forget though that I tipped you to stick 40 on us in the second half on Easter Monday - the first 40 minutes that day and last night were very similar where we just couldn't cope with you starting down the slope and got absolutely mullered round the ruck.

absolute no chance with powell, keep your hands off he's ours but to be honest leythers why would powell want to go to leigh anyway your not gonna be the same team next year, he's at a club now on the up where as who knows what the future holds for leigh with their off field troubles.
