I was one when still at junior school , but went probably a whole decade without attending a match ( I might have gone the odd one or two , but don't actually remember ) , so do I count
Maybe Dereck was a late developer to the sport of RL , yes he did follow our former coach to Spotland for a while , but then again he has in the past been on the recieving end of abuse and threats from some of our own fans , I do know for a fact he is still a Leigh fan , and does what he can to support the club , still as mad as a barrel of frogs like ![]()
No compulsory age but if your a Leigh supporter you dont go following Rochdale,
always take me hat off to anyone who sponsors the club so well done for that!

If his involvement improves the club on and off the field who cares?.
My only message to DB is ,if the pressures on dont stand amongst the supporters...its not clever for directors to do that.

There were ' issues ' that I won't go into on here at the time , or shortly after Deredck left as a director that made it ' uncomfortable' both for him and the remaining directors , he kept away for a time and enjoyed the hospitality at another club , but as we all know time is a great healer and it's good to see him back supporting the club
After all , our current chairman has been involved with ' other ' clubs in the past  |

| Anyone putting money into the club I support (no matter how little or small) gets my total respect.
Lets hope the club can attract some more former investors along with some new ones to 'enjoy the journey', the more the merrier  |

Stevie B would be a nice addition to AT's team
AT cant go on forever and a team including McCauls, Penky, Steve B and the egg man would be a nice mix.

| Steve I'm told has other interests these days as his children are 'into horses' and he travels extensively to horse trials ( I cant spell Gymkhanas  ) then again certain others of our directors seem to have 'other interests' and are not regulars at the LSV never mind away games. |

Agreed but when we win the GF this year do you think Arthur will be grabbing the trophy as if he's scored the winning try? DB put himself up on a mighty high pedestal on radio stations promising things he couldnt deliver. Then of course standing on the terracing arguing with fans is never a good thing.
Maybe he's learnt when to speak and how to portray himself better in 2011, as you say time is a healer.
