As I read the table, we now only need a bonus point at Sheffield to secure 3rd place. If we beat Sheffield by more than 12 and Batley win at Whitehaven on Sunday, Batley will go 6th on points difference. So we want to win on Thursday, but by less than 12!!!

Just goes to show what the Franchise nonsense has made us all talk about, ticking boxes, average gates instead of the entertainment served up on the pitch, what your teams performance might result in promotion, the good youngsters coming though. Instead we feel obliged to discuss ticking boxes!!

We all need to get in a different mindset really, i personally don't think about us getting into SL, i think the comp we are in is excellent at the moment, so lets just enjoy where we are and get behind the team we all love, LEIGH RL. |
