My own Gripe re the ref is that he doesn't understand what the word 'consistancy' means.
Take for example Nanyn's binning. The fax player got up, would the ref allowed play on? I think yes he would, so Nanyn instinctly jumped on him. Correct call by the ref to bin him?? Probably. The high shot on a Leigh player, was only given a penalty. By the ref giving a Penalty, he admitted it was a high shot...

But ultimatly, it isn't the ref who drops balls, and doesn't take chances. As our halifax friend has said, we are absolutely clueless when near the line. If Watto had been playing today, our Championship lives would have been safe.
Good luck too fax in the play offs, but I really do fear for the team that is the best in this league by a country mile...

The leigh lad on the wing was about a foot in front correct call to disallow but the first two fax tries on another day would have been called back for knock ons

A better coach for the last few months is the only way we could have been any better. These players CAN do it - just need coaching.
Why, at a scrum late in the game when a try could have clinched the game, does Durbin go hooking? Surely he would have been more of a threat at positions 6,7 or 13 so that he could take on the defence. I mean, how quick is Stewart from a scrum?

The high shot was just one of those tackles where the defender goes for a big shot, clips a moving arm or shoulder and the tackle rides up. Looked much worse than it was and yes the ref was looking straight at it. Maurice is bang right that it should be a penalty and nothing else.
