The NRL have 'squad numbers' in that they name a squad of (I think its 20) at the start of the week, then the projected starting 17 a couple of days before the game and if any of those pull out up to the game the replacement wear the 'squad numbers'

Sign two more fullbacks despite us already have trouble choosing who to play there? I suppose Fitzpatrick could play at 6 but it would be good to sign a specialised one, e.g Joey

As already stated by Alex's Dad, we don't have much choice.

We aren't a bad side, we got totally outclassed on Sunday whilst defending and attacking poorly. We have come unstuck at late stages in games Fev/Barrow etc but winning those games will come with experience something we don't have enough of.

We can't afford an influx of new players we need the ones we have now, to work hard and perform well. We do need a good stand off and another prop. We won't go down and I think if we have enough about us we wil reach the play offs.

For me, the likes of Hobson, Donlan, Stewart, Maden, McConnell etc all need to step their games up. They have tonnes of experience at this level and above and should be playing better IMO.

We have some great young players coming through, Mort, Higson, Meekin are three I expect to carry on improving to become key assets in our side. We just need a couple more affordable experienced players to arrive and perform and our other 'seasonsed' players to step up abit more.

Wouldnt have Govin as he`s injury prone and wouldnt have Dana Wilson either. We have 2 FB`s - so we dont need to get Fitzy............but would love for us to sign Penky and Leafa.

I guess you would rather have props who either dont take the ball in or cant get fast PTB`s and dont hit hard in defence.

He would be in your team, i guess our coach just knows how to get the best out of players. Take Greenwood for example, Leigh fans made out he was average at best. Hes now without doubt the best full back in the division.

TBH I never wanted Greenwood to leave - but was offered a lot of money by Fax to sign for them (excellent player).............. but never rated Wilson when he was at Leigh and still dont.

When at Leigh, I didn't think Miles was the 'finished article'. But he was always quick, and elusive, and backed up well - qualities that made him stand out above the 'average' player. Obviously, other facets of his game have been developed and he is now a very good player.

Let's be honest, Greenwood looks better because he has a better side in front of him. Was hardly going to look like a world beater when dealing with line break after line break when he was with us.

Very true Matt. Stuart Donlan was hardly made to look a good player on Sunday, when repeatedly faced by the ball carrier, with five of his mates backing him up!
