True. I'm all for players offloading, but we seem to be trying to force offloads in ridiculous situations at the moment. There is little gain in just dropping the ball on the floor, with a scramble ensuing, to see who comes up with possession!
It's a definite skill (offloading correctly) - can it be coached, Keith, or do players possess it naturally?

I don't wish to single Morrison out but he's a little on the small side and does not currently give us enough go forward IMO. It's something (along with a quality HB) we need to address PDQ
PS I once saw Andy Leatham run 80 yards at Gigg Lane - And score
I once saw Bill Robinson run 25 yards at Halifax and score, take it from me, that was feat!!

JT - big heart but no forward impact
Armistaed - looks unfit, missed at least 4 tackles in the first half alone
Mort - not convinced as yet. Donlan as to be full back, thats why we signed him, again poor coaching
Agree with the rest of your assessment!'"
Might not have seen much of the ball however, the 'Try' of the week in this weeks league express, including SL teams ! was scored by Leigh, with Hill getting an honorable mention!, sounds like good coaching to me or, is that good players?

No it can't ! sadly John Taylor would never be able to master this skill if he went on every coaching course there is! Great tackler though
Sorry that name still 'haunts' me from the past! I did mean Jimmy!

he was a good tough stand off in the mid '70's
i remember his "disagreement " with dennis curling
the biff was back that evening, for sure!
