Yes it should be a relatively easy matter to identify these people. The Leigh club should be informed and the offenders suspended or, ultimately, banned.

That a bit harsh, as I said they are usually well behaved and just got a bit giddy, a little quite word would be more apporpiate(sp).

They are more likely to stop if you have a word than if you try and get them out of the ground kicking and screaming.....

Time for an apology to all leigh fans who travelled to sheffield yesterday especially to peanut and his son. As a group we follow leigh home and away and this seaon abroad, the last thing we wanted to do is offend our fellow supporters.

The language at the Don Valley stadium was out of order and after speaking to other members of the group we would like to offer our apologies to anyone it offended and we will try and not let this happen again

Thats a great gesture Ody, now if you can self police you will find the atmosphere will improve as more want to be part of it.

Just echoing what Ody said, think things got out of hand yesterday and, in the cold light of day, it's a lot easier to recognise the mistakes made and make sure a similar situation doesn't arise in the future.

I'll admit to swearing a bit but I've mellowed a hell of alot in recent years.

It takes a really big game or something scandalous to get me going. Definitely no need for it all through the game... people drinking ridiculous amounts of booze before and during the game doesn't help.

You're not allowed to drink unless your under the stand at football grounds as far as I'm aware. I know people who go to the game and miss half of it going to and from the bar anyway... I mean what's the point?

There didn't seem many stewards in evidence yesterday. In previous years, they have out-numbered the fans (must have all moved over to LSV ) and worn Gestapo-like uniforms!

This comment does not make sense! A lot of people will find the language offensive and not attend. The simple fact is that the language is intended to be offensive to opposing fans.
