It was an Act of complete total stupidity, even in an act of surrender one considers the options available, trouble is this Leigh team are slow between the earholes as well as on the ground.

In a tight game where trys are not being scored at a regular rate it may have been the right decision. This was not that game, and they were always going to score at least another try or two. It’s decisions like that that we cannot now afford if we are to have any chance of top 4.

I could not believe what I was seeing, Featherstone were there on the ropes. To be fair some of our own players were bewildered at the decision.

Featherstone managed to get a whole load of Oxygen back in to their lungs at that point. Not to mention belief.

Unfathomable. It had no positive impact whatsoever. Ok, so we scored two points and, in theory got the ball back - but on our own line with the grave risk of making a mistake and handing over the initiative in our half!

And we had a couple of options earlier in the game where we decided to tap and the 2 would have been the more sensible option

Fev went for two, probably the fact they where tired. Not sure what our excuse was. As VL says those decisions are very costly. And as you quite rightly point out there was other options available at times.

You could understand the errors if it was a new coach in place. But these guys arn't new.

As an opposing fan I didn't see his positioning and support play, but I did see him pick up from our two mistakes and put 12 points on the board! He's certainly got a good turn of pace and looked very athletic, but not sure about his credentials as a fullback?

I actually wrote that his 2 try's should not hide his failings as in all honesty you did gift us them , so essentially we created just the one , but decided to delete that bit

I commented after the Barrow defeat that the rest of the Championship would smell our blood , it seems I was right , everybody knows they have it in them to beat us
