And this is not just generosity (or charity), no, this is smart coaching and smart business, and a sign that we are viewed as a future big fish.
1. Salford need to give there team a true workout with all the new faces, and Noble sees us as good enough to give there strongest available team just that (and we know the boys are up to it)
2. Mr K knows that the more local big derbies his team can have in the future, the bigger his crowds will be. Yes this is a generous move, but it also tells me that he sees Leigh as a potential to be one of those derbies sometime in the future. A little help now is generous and smart business ! |

| That's a great gesture by the Doc. We all know that Salford owe us big time for non match debacle last year but (as far as I know) he wasn't obliged to make it right so the fact that he has made this generous offer makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.  |

There seems to be a misconception about the Wigan deal - Wigan took a small fixed fee and we got c.90% of the net gate (after expenses) so both they and Salford have been very supportive of their fellow Lancashire club. |

Well it's made an even more significant gesture by the pledge to field a full team as that will bring more fans in. He'll win a few friends here for that.
I would wager that both teams will be in the Middle 8 next year (although the good Dr. would be aghast at the prospect) so we should be seeing more of each other.
