Best sign I saw was in the window of Blacks in Edinburgh it read "Now is the winter sale of our discount tent".

I saw a dirty white van in platt wazz with a sign in the back saying "No tools in this van" and somebody had wrote in the dirt underneath " apart from the driver and his mate".

I've seen a couple of times on the M62 a van/truck on which is written Transport Workers And Tarpaulin Specialists...first letters letters were in bold. Anybody else seen them?

Thats similar to the cans of Tango, next time you pick one up take a look at the first letters on each line

One I saw in a Jewellers in Leigh "Ears pierced while you wait". Like you can leave them and go off shopping, and pick them up later?

One in the local village down here, on a Transit van of a lady who does ironing services - "White Van Gran" ....

Back in the Seventies, one of the first Indian restaurants to open in a suburb of Birmingham - "The Shirley Temple" ....

seeing the knockin' shop reminded me that theres a hotel linking two major towns in the states called..........BIG DICKS HALFWAY INN !
