If Sunday is the day you normally play why would you change it to let Swinton play that day You must have asked for Friday as I think we have refused so looks like RFL will decide

I hope its Sunday we will bring more over and it will be a good advert for too competitive teams on the championship.

Just have them both on same day sorted

COmpletely agree it is crazy to play on any day other than Sunday. Whatever the outcome one of us will go out of the cup so we need it to be as big a corw as possible. Not fair to make the FEv fans come over the pennines on a Friday night IMHO

So say we've given Swinton Sunday because they switched last time and weve asked for Friday night and Fev go to the RFL to object, Saturday taken by a function what happens then would it have to be a double header on the Sunday ?

Why would we give Swinton the Sunday fixture?

RFL don't do fair anyway they've expected us over the last couple of seasons do the same journey on Thursdaynight s for an half seven KO

Opting for Friday instead of Sunday would lose around 1000 fans, Swinton playing on Friday instead of Sunday would lose around 40 fans. Net gain 960 fans.

I will be there no matter when we play as I said , I politely prefer Saturday tea after that Sunday anytime , but it ain't up to me !!!!

Surely the "unique relationship" with the LSV should mean that Leigh have first refusal?

I was cautious of putting to much info into the public domain but Its out there via Fev CEO Craig Poskitt Twitter account:

@poskitt_craig: Just to confirm @InfoFevRovers that no game has been confirmed by @TheRFL for for any tie at LSV. FR have declined to play Friday evening.

From that you can see Fev don't want Friday Night, Saturday is not available due to a wedding and Swinton will be allowed to play Sunday I believe as there is a function booked but a small crowd of 400 won't effect it however our larger crowd would have.

Hard to see any option than Friday night at moment guys.

What bunch of soft asses Featherstone Rovers are these days. The number of occasions we have gone over to their place on a Thursday night in recent seasons and just got on with it ! Why, what's their problem with facing Leigh on a Friday night? Scared of the dark?

We have travelled over to Bradford and Wakefield at this stage of the competition in the past 3 seasons, not forgetting the tie at Wigan last season. All of them Friday night encounters.

As stated in my earlier response to 'spener', Fev have played midweek (plus once on Saturday) at LSV in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. They should be used to it by now.
