Not been this giddy for a while,what a great result Leigh bossed the game from start to finish and did'nt let Fax play their usual fast game .Well done lads i'm well chuffed

Half the team are not giving 100%, many injured players playing! many not trying hard enough. We need an overhaul at our club! Your defence good yes but how many errors from us, Ben Black in particular? gave you a cake walk

We forced the errors. Our willingness in defence with our solid structure forced Fax into decisions and plays they didn't want to make forcing errors.

What a game, loved every minute of it cant stop smiling even though I had an hour and half sleep last night and have just come straight from Fax to a 12 hour night shift!!! Think our pack must be the best in the league, Lee "Beeeeeast" Mitchell and "Unit" were outstanding!! Thought the atmosphere on Fax's side was very poor was expecting a lot more from them in terms of banter, looks like its just the Chemic games that are going to be the best games for fans. Hopefully we can kick on from here take 4points from our next to games, and maybe add a few hundred on home attendances. Roll on Toulouse on Friday- I cant wait!!

The Leythers Are Back!!

They're not happy campers on the Fax board. How things can change in less than 12 months.

Halifax have a great squad of players who are coached badly, they were stood up near me and the gruesome twosome hardly had a word to say all through the second half just when their team needed guidance.

Maybe they were gob smacked at the way we were playing. Maybe it has just hit them that they are in the mire. It's a bit of a conversation stopper when you realise that your job is on the line.

I hope they stick with Calland for the season, its the least he and the team deserves

Our team players,coaches,fans just excellent today.
Attacked and defended together.Forwards dominated but we had backs joining in clearing the lines.
We let them in for one just before ht but punished the error they made from the kick off.No contest 2nd half.
Confidence is growing and so long as the team stick together we must be in contention.

We sat in new stand.Great view.Thought we wuz at west ham with 15 to go.

Only gripe.Flute song is embarrassing.Surely we can do better than that.

On the way to the game I thought we would struggle today. 20 mins in I thought we could win it. When Duffy came on i KNEW we were gonna win it. He had Penky and Gene in his back pocket for most of the time he was on the field and gave us some great go forward. Each and every player gave their all today and deserved the applause they got at the end of the game.Well done boys, more of the same next week please.

Difficult not to get carried away - nearly 100 points scored over last 2 games against sides that normally are tough to beat in previous seasons.
