Administration does not necessarily lead to automatic demotion, if it did at least one SLE club would be down here with us, only Gateshead has gone down that route and they asked for it.

If anyone thinks that the new proposals that the Chairmen are hearing about today in Coventry will lean towards non SL clubs then wakey wakey they wont do a lot to harm their little gentlemens club

I agree Champ 1 now would be the death, and if this was the only option I would hope we are talking with the RFL to avoid it. I am unclear what non SL rules are for admin, SL are different rules.

Without cash, a company is dead anyway, Bylaws, leagues etc become irrelevant.

If certain creditors aren't paid then the option may be taken out of the hands of club anyway, it is better to lead the admin and do the donkey work before hand rather than be forced into it.

Lets see what happens i am unaware of anyone who actually wants admin so it will be avoided at all costs i imagine.

The key for me now is a willingness for the current Directors and Shareholders to play ball so to speak for the good of the club.

In its current position there can be no payback from shares/DLs or PGs.

I would love to work for the club I love and help in any way I can, I could have a lot of time on my hands very soon.

And that person in other threads on this board is being patted on the back.

Those persons need to be in the trenches sorting out the issues and getting the right sort of help into the club to ensure the correct decisions are being taken for the good of the club and its creditors and not just abandoning ship.

Someone who is detached from the whole emotions of the club and community should have been brought in well before now to help,advise and ensure the correct course of action is taken to the club is there in the future in whatever form it takes, however as it stands it seems no one seems to be taking control and as we sadly saw at the weekend, you can see the devastation a boat out of control can cause (pls forgive my analogy, but it is very apt if what is being said on here is correct )

As a free of charge club chairman, solicitor, company secretary, and cheif cool and bottle washer, if Keith walked away tonight the club would fold tomorrow whilst there are other shareholders sat at home doing nothing.

People don't always see this.

Those wishing to have a go at him maybe want to spend a day in his shoes or come out of the shadows and help.

Full respect for what he's doing/done in the past and if he is looking to assist a takeover and aid a smooth transition to new people then walk away head held high without trying to take anything back good on him.

I will reserve judgement on that at the moment though.

As I said without Keith we wouldn't have had a club his work sorting the advance from the RFL and otthem issues he's dealt with them. lots of respect for Keith from me.

Largley because we were left with big existing contractual commitments to players signed before Trevor and Keith took over the day to day dealings, whilst the season ticket money had been used in the earlier part of the season meaning that at the latter end the pot was empty.

With Arthur financing the club and AR as CEO I doubt he was to any degree.
