On Saturday he had far too much of the ball and created nothing, why don't we just allow Martyn Ridyard to be our 'play maker' as we have always done? Recently we've seen Reynolds and now Stewart with this important task!!
On Saturday I thought Josh Drinky had his worst game for Leigh (he wasn't alone mind you) he didn't look very mobile is he carrying a knock?
Our Back line on Saturday would not have won us any games in the Championship! I think Ben Reynolds was badly exposed at fullback, he has serious lack of pace and he looked very short on stamina.He has already proved he's not a SL halfback! where next for him?
Out of the five threequarters / Fullback, two (Crooks & Naughton) are on loan
Saturday was a dreadful performance and at halftime, I was hoping for a turnaround but, it never materialised!!
HKR would not have beaten any other SL team, despite playing well! We did not play to the standards we have had too encounter this season, hence the result!
Should we panic? not yet, lets see what the season brings, long way to go yet
Saints on Friday night, ill be there! I've seen us win at Saints once, in over sixty years of going there!!

Thought Riddy had a nightmare along with the majority to be honest.Regardless of Stewart being first receiver,you'd have thought given his experience he'd have known what to do with it.Big question ? mark hanging there.

Confidence really affects team performance - can make a team look disorganised and unfit. They surely have to focus on 'marginal gains' - avoidance of penalties is the key focus. Kicking long and early when an extra 20 metres wont make a difference. Kicking penalties further into touch. Keeping possession in opponents half. Personally I'd go for Jarrod Sammut - live wire halves can get a team buzzing plus he's the smartest kicker I've seen. |
