Really Ste?

Cutting aside all the SL, Championship BS we are essentially a second division side still so if winning the second division makes you the best coach in the country then Darren Abram must have been the Messiah as he got us to SL and chucked in a NRC cup along the way also.........

Paul is improving year on year and doing a fantastic job and is a very promising young British coach but the big challenges are all still all in front of him yet and he knows that im sure.

Do you think Darren Abram is a better coach than Paul?

Do you think his team played better rugby?

Did Darren arrive at pre season with no coaching staff and a dozen players at best?

Did Darren manage to survive a financial crisis?

Did Darren create the team culture Paul has?

Personally as i stated originally i think he is the best British coach, out of interest as you think he isnt who would you swap him with??

No sign of a "in my opinion" or "personally I believe" etc. it was yet another bold statement which factually cant be supported.

Just to be clear here. I'm not disputing Pauls capabilities or achievements nor am I stating one is better than the other as who am I to judge. I was questioning your statement and applying your logic to Darren Abram having (On Paper) so far achieved more than the current coach then he must using your logic be a messiah in RL coaching terms if Paul is you say "arguably the best coach in this country" surely???.

PS. For the record I've answered your questions to the best of my knowledge in colour above. I have tremendous respect for Paul as a coach but perspective is required.

yes put my statement about him being one of the best coaches in britain along with the one about going to wembley within 3 years. Also that we are heading to places we havent been for 33 years!!!

No idea who the Dave is you refer to above mate, as for your comments above Andy, complete joke. Referencing Abram with Paul is like chalk and cheese. Youve not answered any questions in red youve said no comment, wasnt there etc. Give us your opinion. Surely in an ideal world youd want Leigh rugby to have the best coach. You joined this thread saying Paul isnt the best coach, so ive asked you who is?

And finally Andy as stated many times on numerous threads i only ever have the utmost respect for anyone whos pumped money in, worked, played, etc for Leigh rugby club. I believe this includes you. What i dont sign up to is agreeing with everything you say and secondly putting you in for plaudits for everything we ever achieve from here on in. Plenty people over the years have helped save this club as did you. Respect to you for that but i wont be singing your praises for the next 20 years.

as for staining peoples charachters the only person to get personal is you and one of your FB friends a couple of weeks ago. Its amazing what you see and read on threads. Have a good evening and hopefully you can answer the above....
