| Seven Hills it was Ian. It was somewhere you could ride your bike at it had two swings. There was also the Family Tree also near the football/rugby pitch.

I think Lilford used to have 7 hollows and Devil's Hollow but my memory may be playing tricks.
They seemed very scary to ride a bike through.

| Devils hollow was at the far end of the park close to the old railway and Staffords farm. My dad used to tell us it was an old ventilation/escape shaft for the pit.

Lucky Hollow was near Lilford but a bit closer to our street pal, used to get to it through the trees in the back right corner of the field and was on the way to Lilford from there

| Good fishing pond was the Lucky Hollow. On another note does anyone exactly know how deep the Delph was?

I learned to scuba dive in Eccleston delph and I think it varied in most parts 3 - 15 metres but the sink was the deepest point where the water fed from underground was over 20 metres

| Woopse, mental note always check for typos before slagging anyone off. Maybe I was a tad harsh but it has been annoying me, every other press release from Featherstone talking about their "fantastic facilities", if Post Office Road is fantastic there is no superlative good enough to describe the LSV. Featherstone have a lot to be proud of and to boast about, their quality on the pitch is obvious, the passion and support of their fans is clear to see and I've only heard good things about their community links; but to try to describe Post Office road as some amazing quality stadium is daft. Much rather hear about what's being done to fix it up, when's the new stand due to be finished and what's happening after that to actually turn it into the fantastic facility it could be? As for Hilton Park being just as bad, well yes but that's why we moved to the LSV.

Don't agree mate even though we all loved Hilton Park, I think POR isn't a bad ground to be fair as older grounds go.
