The only objection I can see that's valid, is the announcement before every game that "RL is a non racist sport" (Or whatever the correct form of words is), but as we all know now that nice Nick Griffin has assured us, the British Nazi Party are in no way racist, so thats OK then.

Well as you say "everyone" is entitled to their opinion. At least Nick Griffin doesn't go around in the back of his car calling innocent old ladies "bigots" because he doesn't like it when the people of this country tell him so cold hard facts.
