Your coming across very well, I've bags of time for Steve but to say he's coming across as bitter for whatever reason is an understatement.

What people are forgetting here is whatever the opinion of us as a new BOD the club was on a life suport machine and ready to be switched off in May so we can't be doing that bad to have stabilised it, won the NRC, restructured it, cleared the historic debt, reduced the over draught, got rid of Directors loans by old directors, won the respect and support of LSV, won the admiration of the RFL, put together a strategic buisness plan second to none either inside or outside SL (not our opinion the opinion of others) launched a TV Chanel, brought together community groups and people who were on the outside or at odds previously and so on and so on.

Not the worst start and four months in charge i dont think before we mention the commercial side and record high profile sponsership revenue from the 2014 shirt (all new sponsers by the way), lucrative and flexible ticket offers for 2014 and the fact were putting together a 27/28 man squad of players which we believe will enable us to challenge for top two and a GF next season.

I could go on but it's clear to all a lot of work is going on behind the scene and you know whats happening Alan were not here to make up he numbers and it's all community focused with a view to not just doing it for the club but the whole town.

We will never please everyone but the feedback I'm getting is the majority can see us for what we are and are happy to back us.

I'd take anything the RFL and to a lesser degree anything the LSV say with a sizeable pinch of salt, this is the organisation ( and the same people ) that refused to admit the LSV existed 3 months after having a tour round it

As I said, IMO too much emphasis on who rather than what, I genuinely want you to succeed, but I have read so many times on these boards of numerous other clubs how the new ' successful and experienced ' owners virtually guarantee a bright future, the invariably fail, and 2/3 years down the line , it all changes again and so it goes around in circles again

This isnt mischief making, just a ' Catchphrase moment ' , saying what I see

Hopefully at whatever the next event ( fans forum, squad/shirt/sponsor launch ) is more meat will be put on the bones of the clubs plans ,I dont want to appear too negative so I'll just answer Alans post then leave it alone

Casing point Steve.

Here in this post lies the problems of the past which you seem to be stuck in Steve.

Its evident from the homework weve done on the past and subsequent findings the RFL wouldn't play ball with Leigh Centruions because of our complete lack of respect and professionalism and to some degree it seems the LSV were likewise.

In buisness you cant just blurt everything out and "say what you see" as like in all walks of life authority in whatever form that may be will cut you down stone dead. We've put together a strong professional team adopted a strong professional well mannered respectful approach and we are getting mutual respect and help and assistance back from LSV and the sports governing body.

You will never beat the system and people who shout and ball and try to do so will never achieve anything over than a great big fight and go round in circles.

LRL needed cash to survive and then to grow. The new regime have injected cash to both survive and grow for 3 years that allows the Nogster to plan and project
The non guaranteed Cash comes from fans and sponsors, were are told the shirt is a record deal outside SL, I understand its double last years plus some
If we get behind the season tickets and the minor sponsorships then the options open up, the squad is already much better than last year and the coaches are full time- I translate that as ambition supported by cash and can't wait for next season

The last time we were debt free would be 10 years ago when we ( original consortium ) took over, that consortium included successful ( at that time in my case ) businessmen and talented accountants ( bearing in mind very few if any accountants have ever built successful businesses ) , which is essentially my point

Again we did make lots of mistakes, and again that is my point, if I hear and see new people saying the same as others who failed ( as I said ' Catchphrase moment ' , " saying what I see " ) then it worries me

I have said in the past, when you get involved a kind of temporary madness can take over , and in the vast number of cases when these people leave the sport and clubs it is under a cloud,

As I said, I'll leave it there , hopefully I'll feel better after the next ' do '

No couldnt be further from the truth, in esesnce it means we have a independent supporters club which is the lifeblood of the club and is very important but is losing members and struggling to attract new ones as far as I can see.

My point being instead of wasting time offering people advice and highlighting mistakes of directors in the public domain on a forum it may be more prudent to look at ways to grow and improve the particular area of responsibility of your own.

We have targeted growth right across the buisness weather that be official or unofficial parts of the buisness and as such we need people to embrace thier own roles and responsibilities rather than worry about ours.
