| After watching Hudds on the SL show this week ,it's obvious that Danny Brough is the man we need to snuff out, though I'm sure Jukesy doesn't need me to tell him this, Brough makes them tick,he needs a couple of HHS special hits, Jamie Ellis is a decent player but looks overweight at the moment, will we beat Hudds?Yes if we nail Brough, they are far from being a one man team , but he is the Ringmaster,we mustn't let him have any room.

I think it's an interesting game I think we have the advantage in the backs, half backs are evenly matched and forwards are evenly matched too.
The biggest culture shock will be McGillivary and Cudjoe who both drive the ball in, take a lot of stopping and are strong units especially Leroy who is bigger than a lot of forwards in the league. Jerry isn't as big but it's bells whistles and full speed. We badly missed him at Salford when he was injured.
However our pack have a habit of being a bit soft and it's only when someone gets thumped etc do they get aggressive enough it's what Rick Stone has identified as our Achilles heel.
As the Leigh pack appear to be a naturally aggressive bunch it should be very interesting as we have some big mobile units too and if they turn up and play like they did against Hull who have the standout pack in the game we have a decent chance of winning but thats been the exception rather than the rule.
We will bring a decent but very vocal following and I just hope either way it's not down to a couple of very controversial decisions as it's these games along with play offs and challenge cup matches where the excitement lies for both sets of supporters.

Because Stone is aware it is going to be a physical game. He wants his best 17 on the park.

| Its a huge ask for us to back up the herculean effort last Saturday, especially after the training run Giants had, so we need huge noise from the terraces to lift the lads and rattle the opposition. The big question is do we play Fui as impact or stick with graft and long minutes??

No, because a wall will be erected (at Wiggin's expense) to keep the buggers out!

The disparity of jobs within the council will cause chaos in Humbleland, the new republic will benefit and stocks will be erected ont town hall steps for any local found sporting other teams colours. After a good beating their property will be confiscated and they will be deported

Agree with the vast majority of this fart'town since 1961
I think a good few SL Clubs would be happy to have our forward pack, outside backs are our weakest link really & I think we will have a job on to contain Cudjoe & McGillvary, this is also why I believe Smith should be at FB for this one instead of McNally.
Pivots are pretty even I reckon, we have an excellent 6, 7, 9 set up & Hood went well against KR last Saturday as interchange Hooker.
Should be a great game & as I have taken a days leave for it I now get a nice 3 day weekend ....
Don't spoil it Giants please.

A very good post in my opinion, it should be an enthralling game.

Exactly, and despite a lot of our fans opinions, which they are rightly entitled to, Brierley isn't one of our best 17 at this moment in time, he will named in the squad, but very much doubt he'll play any part.

bit harsh that, London played well for 30 minutes, we only pulled away really with 3 quick tries in the first 12 minutes of the 2nd half, it was far from a stroll for us, London defended bravely and gave it a real go.
We had to dig deep to get on top and stay on top, which thanks to our classy half back we did!

Good luck with that one-if I had a quid for every time posters on these boards have talked about not letting brough have space I could pay off my mortgage. Better teams have tried and failed to nail brough and not give him room.
If you try to negate his kicking game he runs at you, if you stop him from running he kicks you to death. Brough could make himself space in a tin of sardines, he's one of the best in RL anywhere in the world at doing so - it's a joy to behold.
...... The only way brough gets beat is when he beats himself...
