I still can't understand why the placid Ste Maden was red carded in the NRC Final.

Biff is part of the game, being it back the fans love it. You rarely see the NRL red carding brawls just our bump ties who are under instruction

Might have a couple missing. I saw a couple of Leigh players get stuck in but didn't have the best view. So actually missed what Bate and Heaton did. Who flopped on Brierley? 1 in all in is creeping back into the game, good or bad? Shows an element of team spirit and togetherness but in the longer run can prove costly.

Last night's could have been avoided.

Teams pick on Mcnally and now Brierley, time refs stopped it as this is what happened when the ref ignores it

How do you know that the ref ignored it? If they do nowt they are criticised and if they blow up for everything they get criticised. One thing they don't do is throw a punch.

I think most fans like a bit of aggro but don't like it when it is their team that is punished or their players who get hurt.

In another post somewhere on here young Bate has been given the tag 'The Raging Bulll', that is like putting a target on his head.

I think the game would have been even better last night if the ref had just yellow carded a couple of the players instead of red. Yeah it was an all in brawl but it was pretty much handbags and nothing as bad as the NRC final went on with people giving as good as they got. I mean Rettie and Ashall could be swinging from where we were sat but nothing like an on the ground assault. A cooling down for the players would have probably made the game even more exciting, its a tough contact sport and there will be fights but as long as we dont see things like 3 guys holding someone on the floor and paggering him than I think they should be a bit more lenient.
