It is a torrent of opposition fans on here at the moment. Some gloating, some putting the boot in, some genuinely just curious. Even a few constructive comments (very few!).

It gets very tiring. Most have no interest at all until something like this comes up then can't wait to snipe and gloat.

No wonder everyone is getting defensive. This has been going on for weeks now and doesn't seem like it is ending any time soon. Hopefully some actual Rugby League tomorrow will give us something new to talk about like what actually happens on the pitch!

I bet Aston can't believe his luck playing us in the middle of all this with 12 players missing and no half backs to speak of.

A big performance will be a huge boost and will ease some of the b*llocks being spoken.

A loss would make things a whole heap worse, and it is not too hard to imagine to be honest.

I still think we will win. Our pack is mostly intact and in great form. We just need to play to those strengths as our backs are all over the place.

I know sheffields game plan was to run at Brierley as much as poss, that all changed at training this morning

Very disappointing Ryan has gone. He's undoubtedly a fantastic Championship player but I'm not sure he's good enough to play for a top SL club, if he went to Leeds or Huddersfield he'd spend more time playing for Featherstone or Oldham, he could probably do a decent job for a lower SL team but as we've seen he can disappear when in a losing team. Think the best thing for Ryan's career would have been to stay at Leigh & push for promotion. Seems now he's decided money is worth more than his long term career. The club has done the right thing, there's been so many rumours about him over the years which has gotten worse & worse recently, it now looks likely they've been coming from the player himself & his agent and the club have finally got fed up with it as they've pushed it too far, big mistake on Ryan's part. I'd be tempted to keep him suspended for the rest of the season, if we let him go he will play against us, either in another Championship team, sent out to a Championship team on dual code or in the Super 8s.

There does seem to be unrest beneath the surface though....
Paul resigning, Ryan seems to have issues with something at the club and Allan retires early- quite understandably.
A handful of years back we had a wide range of people running the club as a team. We now have a single wealthy benefactor that I don't believe is entirely healthy.

You'd hope his thinking is along the lines of Rooney has been thre and proven his worth and hopefully one day I'll be up there, and I think that Chase is the same IMO. Brierley probably may get better pass elsewhere but tough, he signed a contract at Leigh and as obviously happy with it, at the end of 2016 he can negotiate another one as opposed to spitting his dummy out.
The lad needs to get his head right, knuckle down and stop worrying about anybody else and get playing his own game, he might even end up adding more than 15k to his not worth if he has a good season.

Assuming that part of all drivel being spouted on here is true. I hope it all get sorted for the sake of the Leigh fans, you don't deserve all this BS.

As an outsider looking in I've seen Beaumont act as a classless prat with a big mouth and an unprofessional attitude- demonstrated numerous times.

DB has stated many times that he wants to see Leigh back in SL,And will do his uttermost to do that,And that is good enough for me. Now with all this latest adversity at the moment I'm quite sure It's a difficult time for Leigh Centurions,but like DB has said , we will come out of it a lot stronger.Until all fails,I will support DB and the club.
