It is a similar prob at Fev. They had bought 2 stands from Scarborough FC to install at Post Office Rd but they can't install them because Fev folk are unable to help because there's not enough of them and they would prefer to stay in the pub. ![]()

It's about demonstrating to LSV we are willing to be a commercial force going forward IMO and willing to look at our options and not be scared to take a step backwards if it means going forwards long term. Its about taking away the feeling of being over a barrel.
Got to stop the tail wagging the dog.
Leigh Centurions are LSVs biggest customer to coin a phrase he who pays the piper...............

Had to register a new username as couldn't remember password. I have been heavily involved with a fan owned football club for the past 8 yrs. It has to be the way forward for sports clubs in my view. Sport is for the fans.
I am not that bothered about RL these days to be honest but if anyone wants my experiences of being involved in a dan owned club please let me know via pm.

What's key is a structure that is not poorly run weather that be fan owned/ part fan owned or a new consortium.

If it is then I suggest ' somebody ' should arrange a meeting between all the current shareholders, both current directors and past to clear up the position, all are reasonable people and all I have no doubt want whatever is best for the club and would not stand in the way or place obsticles in the best way forward
It really isnt that difficult, all it takes is a few phonecalls |

Indeed, and the name of a book I wrote about following my club. Anyway the offer of sharing experiences is still there. I have just returned from my clubs GM where we elected three new board members, decided on if we should increase entry prices and if we should continue our pay what you can afford policy for season tickets, which we have had running for a few years now.
All voted on by the club members.

Could someone please clarify the situation for me.......The current shares have no value so what is the point of shareholders holding on to them and how could they expect someone to buy them? As they have put their money into the club in the past with no chance of a return they must love the club so in the interests of the clubs future why don't they just hand over the ownership? They will never see that money again and although we are all very grateful to them it was their choice / gamble. Again, if money is owed to the bank then they should be responsible just like I would be for a loan I took out.
