Yes it would have been good to have a few locals , but it's his decision to do what he feels is best for himself , hope he goes well for them

Why would any lads from Miners or East sign for Leigh at the moment? If he's going to stay on, first thing DB has to do is regain some credibility. Not sure how he's going to do that (maybe start by settling up with 2018 squad).

But as for signing young players, chances are, if there is a 3 year plan in DB's head. It's probably to get young players on the cheap to start with, then replace with "stars" when he feels there's a chance for SL. I wouldn't exactly be reaching for a pen!

The answer to the original question is probably none of last year's squad will be there this coming season. I'm sick of being negative now and what lever happens I will be there supporting which ever lads have the shirt on. Being realistic we will probably struggle to get off the bottom with a lot of players already contracted elsewhere next season. The silence is deafening from the club at the minute but there will always be a Leigh centurions and whichever league that is in, ill be there! I hope we do start to hear of some signings soon.

Indeed Jason , we know things aren't great and could get a whole lot worse yet , but whatever happens you support your club , but constantly seeing the same crap regurgitated time and again by people who claim to support their home town club is tiresome don't you think , it's just sport , it's not ' Life or Death ' , the world won't end if we get relegated or not make the top 5

Some only seem happy when things are like this , ' fans ' , you have to wonder at times ?
