I had the pleasure of speaking to Frank on match days & he always came across as a nice genuine guy. A the Leyther through & through sad to hear he's passed away rest in peace Frank

Franks Funeral will take place on Friday 10th August at 1.00pm at Howe Bridge Crematorium,all are welcome and Club colours can be worn,there is a buffet after at Leigh Miners for those who want to attend.

Ian,I'm absolutely gutted i can't make it ,as i'm at Haydock races that day. Would you be kind enough to pass on my condolences to his siblings? Cheers.

Sad news. Had many a chat with frank and he could be really daft at times too.!! LOL!

RIP buddy,

First Henry, now Frank. I am sickened at reading this. A true Leyther. Shared many a buzz and train journey to Leigh and then a pint in the George & Dragon with Frank over the years. He still owes me that pint. Strange thing I woke up this morning thinking of Frank and the time I pretended to be a mystery poster on this MB for months winding Frank up about Anthony Stewart. He thought I must be his Dad until I came clean in the pub over at Halifax. We had a cracking laugh about it :O)

Last time I saw him was after the MPG. He looked really ill then. Won't be the same without Frank on the terraces. Sad times. :O( RIP Frank. Truly missed.

Great turn out this afternoon for Franks funeral , just shows how well thought of he was, really good to see so many familiar faces and Leigh colours, I must give a special mention to Bentleyman from Fax, and Fevgrinder and Jon from Fev for travelling from Yorkshire for their mate.Leigh games will never be the same again, miss you mate.

It was a very moving service. Lovely to see how much his family loved him. Will be thinking of them tonight. Will miss seeing Frank on the 26 buzz and on the terraces. He never told me he was a Trekkie. That brought a smile leaving to the Star Trek theme. You will be much missed Frank, and don't forget that pint you owe me when it's my turn :O)
