If you are the team without a fixture in the first week, you don't get any recuperation, you just start a week later than everyone else.

You maths is faulty anyway, if you play on the 1st and miss a week, your next game is on the 15th.

There won't be 14 teams in SL , unless they disband CH also . The next structure has to see SL1 and SL2 all running fulltime with 10 in each. That's the way forward.

Create whatever you want on that structure,because that's were it will end up. Hopefully sooner than later as 14 in SL will see more than just L1 being disbanded.

What ever system they introduce then so be it, we have to adapt, I don't think for 1 minute that there will be a 15 team S.L.

I was merely explaining to mooka that it would be impossible to give every team (2) weeks rest in a season with 28 games.

The powers that be will do what they do and we as fans will adapt.

Yorkshire cup / Lancashire cup, BBC floodlit trophy, Regal / JPS trophy, Lancashire v Yorkshire all gone.

Countless rule changes, licensing/ franchises, French clubs and now a North American club.

You missed nothing, its just some think these ventures of SL with 14 in it will run on Scotch mist. CH along with L1 have 3 years to either go with whats being offered or go alone. Their choice. I don't take into account someones thoughts written in the RL weekly rag as gospel.

Others should do the same, the debate should be about 14 in SL, yet the debate turns into what format should be run in SL using 14 teams which the sport can't cater for without funding from the lower tiers being taken back.

Thats the point, not whether we should have a bye. No club will survive without funding, but if your happy to go with 14 in SL for 3 years, there won't be many clubs or fans adapting to that scenario below SL.

That is wrong, the season would not end on Week 28, it would finish in Week 30!!!!!!!

When you need a set of fixtures for 15 teams, you work them out for 16. Team 16 is the bye!!!!! A season is 30 weeks giving 28 games and 2 byes for each team
