Generally , I like Wakey fans, I work with some very nice Wakey lads and have some fine banter with them, but some fans come on here thinking that Wakey are World Club Champs cos they've done us twice this season.

They've scored 2 try's more than us , but that's enough for 4 points unfortunately

We have beaten you the last 4 games we've played you and it's been just as hard for us as it was for you, so why you run away with the idea that you think we have anything to gloat about is anybody's guess.
Rightly or wrongly one or two of your fans on here have made some uncomplimentary comments about our club and the players and the circumstances of our off field problems, are you saying that we don't have the right to reply in the same context of your post's, you Stephen old son are the most guilty of them all, and maybe IF you tone down the contents of your own posts maybe you wouldn't attract the attention you do.

Leigh were always going to struggle, as any promoted club would. Recruitment is hard at that time of the year when established clubs have more or less sorted their squad.

I'm not clear why a Wakey fan would be so offensive, the word "grubby" smacks of glass houses etc, from a club currently over-achieving with an uncertain future.

Not so much recruitment..Depth of squad has been the killer blow so far. Players out of position as needs must.A full squad available would more than match Chissy's squad,the annoying thing is, he would still say different.

Last year we qualified for the play off's, unfortunately because of injuries to most of the 1st team squad we failed miserably in them losing every game as a result of poor play coupled with injuries.
This season despite a couple of near misses we are on course to emulate last season's efforts and once again qualify for the play off's, so it would be nice to read your explanation as your definition of over achieving, with regards to an uncertain future baring in mind we don't have a sugar daddy throwing money at us, maybe there might be one or two other SL clubs whose future might be a bit uncertain as well, and fwiw below is my thoughts on the offending post.

I will be surprised if you end up in the MPG; you are going through a very lean spell but, IMHO, you will likely turn it around and, in any case, there are 2 SL clubs who are probably further up the creek and certainly 1 of those is more more paddle-less than you.

As with last year, though, I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 SL sides in the MPG.

Your club has spent far more on players than ours has, the big difference is we have recruited far better than you have and have done so in a manner to cover all options in the case of injuries, that's a proven fact with the league table the annoying thing is you will say differently.
I not sure I agree with your bold statement that a full Leigh squad would be more than a match for ours, you are obviously going to think so but you can't go through life iffing and butting, the reality of it is we've beat you the last 4 times.
