This time last year we went to a poor Bradford expecting to walk over them, they ended up turning us over in what was an embarrassing performance from us. Whilst this Salford team is totally different to last years, it just shows over 80 minutes anything can happen between two full-time teams.
In all honesty we shouldn't even be in this competition and it is unfair on the Championship clubs that we are. We're here by default because of misdemeanours from 2014 which is a shame for our 2016 team.
Not sure I can agree that a pack consisting of Hock, Paterson, Hansen and Maitua is better than ours but each of those will have something to prove on Saturday I am sure. It should be a great contest which I am really looking forward to.

Thought our pack was poor on Saturday after watching LCTV, and dominated in the tackle by London. If that happens again then it will be a long and painful day. Hansen and Maitua looked very ineffective, and the only block busting run was Fui in which he seemed to hurt his hamstring not to return. We need to massively increase line speed, and I would have Smith at FB for this one as Dobson could kick us to death if we don't get the returns right. Complete at 75% and above and it will be a great game, but we need a big, loud and hostile crowd putting pressure on the officials and Salford players to play the 18th man

As you have named some members of our pack, for being below par, you have missed the worst offender out! Danny Tickle was dreadful ! twice he stuck his arms out in desperation at passing opponents it looked like a token gesture  You cant leave Hopkins, Spencer and Dixon in the Stand when their replacements play like Tickle, he adds nothing to our team in fact, he weakens it! |

Agreed I also thought Hock had his worst game for us last week perhaps a little ring rusty, hopefully he'll make amends this week. |
