I know I'm going to cop some for this but harper isn't up to it, he was pretty anonymous! As has been said McNally is a massive miss vital in attack and he's positioning at the back will be missed, I'd fill in with breierley personally for the time being! Hides him out of the defensive line and he can link in the attack wider. think we are panicking abit about Saturday we lost against a very very good wire team with some vital players missing ourselves in Hansen, chase, Tonga and matuai! Weston looks the part hard in the tackle and got decent footwork in contact

The only players missing from a full strength first 17 were Ratchford, Dodds and Russell, in a team that hopefully can finish in the top 4

And to be fair,we played a very very excellent wire team on Sunday. I think Rowls can take a lot of positives out of this game. Great shame about the injuries though.

Bit harsh on Harper. I imagine the plan was for him to play the last 10 minutes or so like he did against the pies and see how he went. Not for him to play almost the full game due to Gregg and Greg getting injured. He struggled but it is understandable. He is a prospect and should be given game time against Oldham, Swinton etc not the likes of Atkins, Currie and Ormsby.

Similar with Foster and Brierley. I imagine they were both only supposed to play much smaller minutes than they did yesterday but Beswick and Rangi missing out meant they both had to play a bigger part than expected.

To be honest I was impressed with foster was strong in defence and pretty lively around the ruck! Not seen much of harper in the past but the game just passed him by, he's a young lad so I'm not writing him off! I've just been looking we had chase, Hansen, matuai, Tonga, Beswick all missing who would all be in the 17, plus McNally and worthington going off early it's not all doom and gloom

As has been said before we will probably learn more from the Wire game because of how we were "cut open" almost at will. From what i understand Wire were in good form and played at a top SL level and speed, surely we need that sort of opposition so we can experience the level of play we want to aspire to. Yeah as fans it hurts and given our recent seasons play it must be shocking. Imagine how the players feel, do you think they want to feel that way again ?. I doubt it and feel they will get their heads together with the coaching staff and try to form a plan to reduce the chance of a similar 80 mins happening again and feeling the way they did after the Wire game.

Didn't get to Warrington, but I suspect that is a key point 'oggy'. You can add to that, Brierley and Emmit just feeling their way back after operations, and it is easy to see why we may not have been at our best, which we would have had to be to cope any better against a top 4 SL team.

I hope our injured players are soon on the mend. Meanwhile, I wonder whether Pownall or Brierley will get the full back spot, in Gregg's absence? To me, Ryan would be able to play a similar attacking style to McNally, plus it may temporarily ease Paul's problem of fitting Ridyard, Chase and Brierley into the same team!

Looks a good line up. Hopefully Maitua will have his visa by then. (can never understand how these things take so long, especially as the player was already employed by a RL club over here) It seems a bit harsh to leave out Dixon, but then a few good ones are going to have to sit out games this season - injuries permitting!

Not a bad line up Mo , but I would replace Acton with either Dixon for his tackling or Hopkins for his general all round play.

I'd go with that with the exception of Hoppy playing instead of either Maitua or Moi Moi, I'd expect MP will be like a bog at this time of year.
