| Big names or not, these three look like great signings.
However I'm slightly confused about the Ben Reynolds contract. Why would we allow Cas the option of signing him back at the end of the season? (No I'm not being negative just asking a genuine question).

| Another stupid RFL regulation concerning young players. He does not have to take up any Castleford offer if forthcoming though. So in effect it is a regulation that can not be enforced. Figure that ?

| Is that the reason? That's just downright daft. So what's the RFL's thinking behind that then?

If the big clubs get rid of a player because they don't think he's good enough and then he has a storming season elsewhere, then they get to sign him back. Or am I a cynic?

Me and you both. It just doesn't seem right somehow.

But it's the peeps NOT already in the RL world who's curiosity we need to stir. The species who have bought or are buying season tickets already have done so because they are Leythers who watch anyway or coming because of our last seasons brilliant work on and off the pitch.
A big name like Fui Fui will get a paragraph in the papers and that alone could entice a few newbes. I hope he comes but TBH it won't make any difference for me (and many others) if he don't.

| And the lapsed fans wont have heard of him? it's also those we need to entice back as well, if he comes and puts another 100 bums on seats per game that goes a long way to justify him surely.

| The signing that interests me most is young Ben. Daryl Powel is a very shrewd coach and for Cas to have a clause for them to have first dibs on him tells me that Powel rates him highly but just can't fit him in next season. Personally all three signings excite me and we will be a very tough team to beat next year. Even for Bradort and London.

| That winger looks awesome in that clip. Great in the air, near the line. Solid defence. Extra forward in own half. Fast, direct, aggressive. Awesome.

I believe it's because they offered him a contract, his age means they get the right to talk to him first regarding 2016.

| Just been considering the (imho) great signings by the club. We've signed a quality left in GW from Fev and likewise a left wing in CJ. With our existing e hot left backs securing both contracts and places in the Championship dream team, anyone else intrigued? NOT a negative post for the pit bull anti hate fellas, just curious to other peoples opinions.

| Looked up Curtis and a lot of Bears fans are sorry to see him go. Quite a few think that he is NRL quality but won't get his chance over there.

| The signing I'm really looking forward to is Curtis Johnson based off the youtube video the guy is a absolute Beast! Reading comments from the Bears fans they expect him to go all the way & play NRL so he is highly regarded by them & looking at the doping scandal in which he tested negative had this saga not gone on then maybe he'd already be playing in the NRL. The Ben Reynolds signing seems a good one providing cover in the HB/FB positions & Daryl Powell must rate him to put the first refusal contract clause in 2016. Richard Beaumount looks a big imposing front rower & at 26 he's in his prime years & providing his injury troubles are behind him the gamble could pay off. I'd be made up if we've signed Fui Fui Moimoi the guy's a Parramatta legend & would rip it up in our league. With the position he plays at 35 years old & playing full time at championship level his age doesn't concern me & remember Oli Wilkes will be turning 35 & he's not lost it yet. We're in for a big season again no doubt I cant wait for it bring on the bulls.
