In all seriousness though there is only Penky who I would take from those line ups over anyone in our pack. I doubt we will trouble the top 2 by the end of the season just the same as I dont think Leigh will either. I expect Fax, Leigh and Batley to be competing for the places behind Sheffield and Fev although Dewsbury look to be putting together a decent team but i doubt they will have enough strength in depth if they pick up injuries.
A few players are starting to come available from SL as well so teams holding back on spending their budgets, like Fax have done, could pick up 1 or 2 surprise signings.

A better way to judge maybe taking each player and asking would they get in the Leigh team. I think even the most staunch Leigh fan would admit that the forwards we use on match days, usually about 7 or 8, would all get in the Leigh team. On the other hand I think theres at least a couple of Leigh players named that wouldnt get in the fax team, players like Ostick, Duffy, and Aspinwall I think would struggle. |
