We are three points in front of Batley with a far better ooints difference it would take us to get battered by Dewsbury and Batley to batter someone so 4 th I reckon is safe and should Worky beat Fax we could still steal 3 if Fax don't get a bonus point

I listen to Radio Leeds on the Internet and followed Leigh Updates. How come the radio commentary was two to three minutes behind the updates?

I should have checked the rfl one was uptodate.... it wasn't....Alans figure of 1 pt difference is correct. If we mess up against dewsbury the playoffs look completely different. Ie we won't have the safety net of being able to lose our first game.

I am sure our players will be smarting to get back to winning ways on September 1.

With all due respect to Dewsbury I can't see past anything but a comfortable Leigh victory.

I don't think Batley played well, they just worked their ground better than we did, they only really scored from our errors so no panic just dust off and win against Dewsbury, then get ready to show we can perform well in the play offs !!

Charlie thought the team played well today , especially in the second half oing up the slope , the pressure we put on the Bullfrogs was very strong , but their tackling was very good , still its not the end of the world , a earned a Bonus point which should see us finish in 4th place .

I thought Riddy had a blinder , it was good to see him pointing to the Club badge on his chest and kissing it ,



other mentions for Pownall , Spenner , and Tommy G ,we let in 3 soft tries from missed tackles , Gardner and Ostick should never have allowed their 3rd try , Thornley did drop the ball which led to the Bullfrogs winning try , but that's Rugby , everybody drops balls at times .

All in all I think we will still figure strongly in the play-offs , hopefully a GF appearance , bring on the Dews , and before I forget , Welcome Back Trevor
