I kind of agree but its up to us (all of us in the championship) to go full time if we want to compete as a professional club.

Season before last Wolves, Bolton and Rovers all got relegated and received parachute payments none of them got promoted back to the premier league this time.

Championship clubs have favoured the 2 x 12, 3 x 8 option apparently at their meeting last night.

Why can't we have a nice easy system for a change ie 2 x 12 2 up 2 down

I like the 2x12/ 3x8.
It helps to close the gap between SL and the Championship, or at least offers the chance for top CH teams to play Sl teams on a mroe equal basis. No point being promoted adn gettign thrashed every week.

That will only work if they change the way the teams are funded. An extra 2.5 mill is freed up by relegating two teams. That should be distributed on a sliding scale dependant on league position. Probably won' t be though!
