We are told Sheff and Wales are selling well also which adds insult to injury.

We will have lots of people buying tomorrow wait and see.

Best make people aware of that then as Leythers are notoriously late buyers!

Genuinely can't believe we are selling so poorly, yes we might sell a few more tomorrow whilst people aren't working and are able to get there. But 900 is quite bad tbh, thought our support would of shown Sheffields up. Such a shame cos the lads have done brilliant this year, and i for one was looking forward to the south stand being packed to the rafters. Something needs to be done, How on earth are we lacking in support? We do brilliant in final, it will be a class day out!

Don't underestimate the effect of the terracing - for Blackpool, two of us were first in the queue and bought nigh on 50 tickets to make sure we were all sat together. For next week, I've only bought three tickets and let the others sort themselves out while we know we won't have an issue watching the game as a group.

I would imagine there are some individual fans going to Halifax which would have been families if it was Blackpool.

I think there are two things that haven't been promoted enough:

1) Tickets can be bought over the phone and delivered. With the ticket office and market stall only open during working hours, those with jobs are going to find it tough to buy their tickets without this knowledge.

2) The deadline! I assumed tickets would be on sale until at least Thursday. Many others probably think the same. As Matt pointed out, with the main section for Leigh fans being terraced, there's no urgency in getting blocks of tickets for friends and family.


I hope that most will take their opportunity to buy tickets this weekend, but there's a chance many won't - and even if these fans do attend the final, the club will have missed out on the ticket commission.
