So BIG BROTHER is watching you. In that post above you have come across as totally unprofessional. You are sounding more and more like Del Boy, not a professional chairperson of a professional Rugby League Club.

If you are wanting to show that Leigh RLFC is being run more professionally, surely you should all pass information on professionally. The MB should be for fans and opposition to have a bit of banter and a crack not for management to make the MB a sterile clique.

Thanks Ian, as a fan I feel its right to know the truth and facts and so it can be separated from the carp that gets posted by some folk who are bitter towards the club for one reason or another.

Keep doing what you are doing SRW1996. You have the support of the vast majority of the people on this message board and more importantly, all of the ones who are prepared to put their money where their mouth is and support the club however they can. The rest are just armchair whingers!

Means a lot that mate thank you and I really do appreciate the importance of everyone who supports our club.

As a member of that Communications team, I believe it is essential that we 'get the message' out there, using any means at our disposal. I've always believed that, and now feel, at last, the members of the team have the 'official' backing and opportunity to do just that. I also believe that 'Communications' is one of the most vital channels in the organisation, for raising support and funding.

None of us on the team wants to get involved in slanging matches on fans' message boards but, at the same time, we also recognise that these boards are a vital way of communicating with Leigh supporters - past, present and future.

Many contributors to this board have come up with interesting, and potentially profitable, ideas, going forward. However, there have also been misapprehensions and even untruthful (

) posts on here, which must be rectified. I would hope that someone from the Communications team would continue to do that. I would also add that such posts must accurately reflect the club's stance on issues raised.

Some posters just seem to want to write negative posts at every opportunity and try and stick the knife in !!!!! ,I for one appreciate Andy posting on the message board and telling us what is going on . Anyone with a problem with it don't come on the message board but these negative posters can't keep away they feel the need to have a go !

As a Warrington supporter first and formost it often frustrates me how poor the club is at communicating. Here you have a Director who is easily accessible via twitter and this forum, which are the two easiest and most direct methods of interacting with supporters.

Surely Andy should be praised for sticking his head above the parapet and being willing to converse directly with plonkers like yourself, WYSIWYG. Sadly though I imagine if the directors refused to use social media and communicated only through traditional, more formal means you would complain that they were inaccessible and distant. It seems there is no winning with some people, never mind.

Oh by the way, are Wigan an NRL feeder club?
