I am well aware that RL is a minority sport in the UK.

Amazing thing was people today were talking about who would get promoted who would get relegated who might and who might not at todays footie.

I don't think it is a coincidence that crowds go up for these sort of games.

Maybe the RL might try it ?

As regards Keith Freer , Trevor Barton or anyone else who stumps up time or money so I can watch my RL team play I have the upmost respect and they get my thanks.
I might not agree with every decision and might not think what they do is what I would do in the same position but equally these are people who I can safely say are not doing it for the glory or the money and without people like them the club would [ireally[/i be in a mess.

Its amazing how many football clubs had something to play for today.I watched it all unfold on soccer saturday and the amount of emotions flying around is amazing.

Keith i understand and respect everything you say , if Mr Hetherington has done you down , then i applaud you for your stance , ive never met the man , so i cant comment on him .I also always say what i think , though i must admit , im not always right , and i think i make a very good friend , anyway as i have said i hope our club sorts out its problems , and bounces back , im off to York , this morning .

As far as I can see Keith Freer has done a good job, he's kept us afloat, he's told us what the business model is and strikes me as a decent person, he certainly doesn't deserve the comments made about him in the opening post.
The reality is that whoever runs our club, they can't satisfy everyone, they will get some decisions wrong, and god forbid they try to run the club on a commercial basis, which is how it has to be run.
I don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but I am sure that whatever decisions are being made, they are being made in the interest of the club not indivduals, and generally they are being made by people in full possession of the facts, its probably wiser at this juncture to wait for the club to make an announcement, after all we could all be looking for a problem that doesn't exist and it really could be as simple as a cash flow issue.
I do believe that we will come through this and that we will find something new to moan/worry about in the next few weeks/months.

Disgraceful comments but for Keith's hard work we wouldn't have a club

Its difficult to see how the club is better now than at any other time.
Take lisa for instance,Iv'e always thought that Lisa was set up to enhance the club by sponsoring players now it seem the organisation is just propping up a failed club,i can only assume the TDC are doing the same thing.
Plus the club cant even afford a full squad of players
