Injuries are obviously just an inevitable part of any player's career unfortunately Col. Look how unlucky Mick has been this year. I feel sorry for him. Adam's playing week in week out and running the tries in and unfortunately Mick is sat on the sidelines. That's how quickly things can turn around in sport. It is not nice seeing any player injured.

I heard Adam never wanted to leave Leigh. He always gave 100% when he did play and that is why the fans always had a lot off time for him. He signed for Swinton with the prospects of getting a game each week and it seems that's all he needed. His stats say he has got 9 try's?
I would welcome Adam back to Leigh tomorrow.

This seems to be getting out of proportion. Obviously people have differing views on all players. Whatever your view on Adam, we couldn't afford to offer him the pay deal he wanted. As long as his demands remain the same, and someone else can meet them, I suspect the outcome will be the same next season.

For what it's worth I'm pleased for the lad that he's getting regular first team rugby and evidently playing well. Good luck to him.

Whoever slates Higson's defence has a screw loose! That was the one thing he did well at consistently! I always felt that when he played instead of nanyn we looked much safer without the ball in hand, although we lacked a lot ball in hand! Not a great player by any means, but for me he should have been retained as he is a good solid all-rounder. It goes without saying that sometimes you need flair and skill, but you also need whole-hearted players like Higson in any team.

IMO Higson is a good player & is excellent in attact at this level. I respect peoples opinions but I don't understand why people are taking the mick saying along the lines of it must be his family members on here to say they like him'. Can you not have an opinion about someone with out being mocked?

You could be right with the nine tries Blackhead. I read in League Express last week that he had four and I know he got another two against York. I suspect he may have 6 tries in the league, but possibly 9 in all comps.

AJ was a handy addition to our squad. In the opinion of the previous coach, he was not a first choice centre, so his apperances were limited. He was dogged by injury, which would have also hampered his progress.

I know nothing surrounding the circumstances of his departure. Whether he decided to sign for Swinton before Leigh were in a position to offer deals to anyone, or, as has been suggested on here, he was not offered the opportunity to stay, I cannot comment.

I am pleased he appears fit, and is performing well at his new club, but can honestly say that I don't think we are any less a team, or squad, for the want of his services.

I suspect that he will probably return to Leigh at some point, but I hope that if/when he does it is a decision based on his perceived value to the squad than out of some sentimentality based on 'birth-right'!!
