Its a great offer Jonny there is no doubting that my problem is that its aimed at the wrong people.

ST holders of other clubs will only watch us as a one off if that in my opinion of course. They are season ticket holders of their clubs because they are loyal fans they are not and will never be Leigh fans end of.

We need to attract the people of Leigh, give them value for money (i dont think we do) and a product worth paying for (which i think we have)

The only people that will benifit from this offer in any numbers will be away fans coming to Leigh who have ST's for their club.
As previously stated in my opinion the majority of these people would of traveled anyway and paid the £18 to get in. So we will lose out massivly. again i hope i am wrong and its my opinion only im not stating facts just assumptions.

Just because Fev have done this does not make it a good idea, I hope it has been thought through and does not disgruntle exactly the people we need to target the most.

I hope we get 5,000 on thursday and this idea is a great success however i do fear the worst somebody please put my mind at rest that this they way forward for our club because nobody has come up with any thing on here yet which concerns me greatly!!!

Leigh Season ticket holders - #fetchbob for a £10
Leigh Season ticket holders - 1 free child ticket per game (each additional child £2)
Leigh walk up fan - buy 1 full price ticket get 2nd #fetchbob for £10
Leigh walk up fan - 1 free child ticket per adult if required (each additional child £2)
Family ticket - (2 adults + 2 Children) - £25 any stand (each additional child £2)
Away Fans - £16 if pre purchased £18 walk up (end of)
ST holders from other clubs - buy 1 full price ticket get 2nd #fetchbob for £10
ST holders from other clubs - 1 free child ticket per adult if required (each additional child £2)

I like your way of enticing people to drag people along with them. I'd do £20 for the family ticket, but all 4 people must be present to get the deal.

With my 50% ST, i'd just sell it at an average of £11/£13 per game. So £110 for a 10 game ticket etc. Something in this ball park. I don't know the exact discounts on ST's as i'm a Touchdown Club member.

we need to get people hooked on Leigh the people we bring for £10 this season will be next years season ticket holders / regular fans (these are the people we need to target not other clubs fans)

We are overpriced at the moment for what we are and the product we are selling.

You can walk up and pay on the day to watch Wigan in superleague and sit down for £19 thats only £1 more than Leigh. if you buy a remaining game season ticket its £17.80 per game 20p cheaper than Leigh.

Warrington is another example £18.50 adult walk up fan

Unless you are a die hard Leigh fan its no wonder people will ditract to local superleague clubs as the product to cost ratio at the moment is defo in their favour. Both above examples are in modern stadia such as ours.

Our pricing needs and offers need to be looked at before its to late!

Like the idea of fetch Bob for a tenner with a ST holder plus the ST book for x amount of games is good too hope they give this some considerable thought .

You shouldnt discount match day tickets for Leigh fans IMO. If you offer a ST holder the option to bring a mate for £10 then ill be going into the ground with Leyther Matt, my brother could go with my dad and the club loose out on money

Offer the £10 price for ST holders of SL and other championship clubs, we then attract people that wouldnt necessarily spend £16 on leigh when they already have to fork out for their clubs.

To see if the offer we are offering is working take down the details of the people who come and what club they support.

Leigh Centurions have decided to emulate the excellent initiative of Featherstone Rovers and offer season ticket holders of all Super League, Championship, and Championship One clubs, discounted admission to their home games at Leigh Sports Village.

On production of your season ticket, at the ticket office, you will be able to purchase an adult ticket for £10, (normal match day price £16 and £18) or a concession ticket for £6. (normal match day price £8 and £9)You will also be able to bring a child free.

There will also be ample free on-site parking at the Leigh Sports Village site.

This offer will commence with the visit of Batley Bulldogs, on Thursday 8th March.

Roughly how may people do you think are going to come from other clubs? (not including the away team)
Roughly how many extra fans from the away team will now decide to come because they can get in for £10?
How much will the club lose on away fans that would of come anyway and paid £18

We must of done some rough estimates / business cases for such a radical and inovative idea?

I think we can attract a few, too the bigger games last year a few wigan and wire fans came, even a smoggie came down.

To attract the fans we do need to advertise it, ask the bigger clubs we have good partnership with too put it on their site for us or email radio's to advert it

99% of the time theres no more than a coach load of away fans. Fev/Fax will be the only travelling support this year.
