Then are the clubs being totally unrealistic ?
Last nights gate was a big one for Championship RL and yet would fall way short of some of the projections posted to break even.
I don't think any Championship clubs should be looking at gates that in the short term are incredibly unrealistic to achieve if they need double what they get just to survive.

dont know where you coming from maurice but trev couldnt even be bothered to go and talk to his staff when he was appointed so dont talk about trev communicating cos he does not know how his words were i didnt know i come here to talk to staff

How many people , mostly kids have never set foot inside the LSV to watch Leigh ?

Why do people go to watch live sport ? , or a concert that they can watch on video or TV for a fraction of the cost ? , why have they had to have a lottery for the tickets for the Olympics ? , when you will get a much better view on the TV for free ?

Our problem is the money we have to pay to the LSV for each match we play there.

We have a chance to grow our fanbase with this team and coach.

Be part of that. The Consortium can negotiate with the LSV and our players can stop worrying about if they will receive their next pay cheque.

They are unrealistic IMO as no club in this division has ever achieved a 4,000 average without Promotion and relegation.
I'd say that Widnes apart many clubs in our division really struggle to average 1,900 paying fans.
Yes plan for a projection of gates of 2,3 or 4,000 but don't finance for gates that are at the current moment in time and looking at previous averages very hard to achieve.

I agree with the rest of your post, they are all achievable aims, however mixing up aims and aspirations with 'must hit' targets is where you can end up in a mess unless you have a benefactor /backer or investors willing to make up the shortfall.

Just because something hasn't been done before or is hard to achieve , doesn't mean it can't be done , the actual real target is 12,000

It's how you go about achieving it , if all you do is try the same things that have failed in the past , you will fail , so you start with a blank piece of paper with what you want to achieve on it , then figure out a way to do it

What comes to mind is something in one TV show and also a film

The bottom line is we have a stadium that will fit 12,000 in it , so as long as there is an empty seat then there is still work to do

Agree totally.
However if financing it from scratch again we need to take a realistic look at what can be achieved in the short , mid and long term.
We need short term goals with mid term aims and a long term plan.
