Had to laugh, he was banging his drum like mad when the 'Points machine of the Championships' Sir Mick Nanyn was awaiting to take his conversions.
He was either a new fan or has a short memory from when Mick was at Widnes as he was starting to flag by the time he took his run up after a long preperation

Says in LW Ricky will be seeing a specialist this week but Basil is expecting good news in relation to Robbie not having to have surgery.
Both won't be in contention for thursday (Paul out for a few weeks yet and no news on Ricky)

The drum has helped us to create an atmosphere, especially when playing at championship level, wasn't so keen on it in the super league days. Bloody annoying when you are sat only a few rows in front of it though!

It's annoying being at the other end of the ground from it mate.

Fair play! The drum can be most annoying in smaller crowds I think and matches with less atmposhere, the drummer insists on still banging away to himself which can be fairly irritating.

Only joking mate if it helps the atmosphere i don't mind, not in the North Stand though.

Agreed, anything that can help the atmosphere should be a positive really especially for sky games. Really looking forward to it now, hoping for a good turn out from both clubs and to put on a good spectacle for sky.
