That was so funny.

This timid looking steward came to the opening onto the terrace, had a look and dissapeared. A few moments later another steward came with him, asked one of our lads to sit down (who refused) then they both then went back under the stands. Moments later a female steward came - same again. Then the first came back with an 'important' looking guy in a black blazer. He looked and he then they dissapeared. Then a few minutes later about 5 of these guys appeared in their black blazers and only then did one say anything about the lads being stood up. I think he asked them all to sit down in the seated areas but they all suddenly sat on the concrete unseated area. The main steward bloke was so shocked he just laughed, knowing he was on a no win situation so they all give up & went away happy.

It did the job, plus they'd have ended up having to move everyone to the bottom of the lower tier as I couldn't see many empty seats elsewhere. Stewards were spot on about it and thanked us for our good humour on the way out.

Which always makes for good fun at their place - only fair that we put in similar calls of our own, albeit when stood behind the sticks

I also sat on the concrete seats and we had a great time, but one lad just could'nt seem to keep hold of his beer. I think the cold concrete had got to him.

The pair of them must hold a world record for spilt pints, they both managed it in the Melting Pot in Toulouse if memory serves me right!
