the team came home this mornin and had a team run out on lsv pitch,setting off for london at 4 so they wud ave had most of the afternoon to get ready

I agree. I was looking forward to this weekend away but i'd rather the game be played on Saturday than the lads having to go mid week and then play a league game on the following Sunday |

Because going by coach leaves them massively unprepared.
No-one can under estimate the effects long haul coach travel has.
Its equivalent to jetlag off a longhaul flight. |
